Mastree, an Unacademy-backed online education platform that offers English Communications and Inspirational Mathematics programs for children, has collaborated with Kalki Koechlin to design and introduce an innovative storytelling-driven English communications program for kids from KG – Grade 8 (ages 3.5 to 14 years). Focused on building strong communication and cognitive abilities in children, the curriculum is designed to nurture kids into natural storytellers at a ripe age by introducing them to the experience of language learning via the art of storytelling. With the motto of Inspire | Create | Compete, Mastree has developed this offering to hone children's’ talents, making them more confident speakers and taking them to greater heights in their careers.
The program offers basic, competent and expert packages with 40, 60 and 120 sessions respectively, which will enable students to take centre stage with confidence and mesmerize their audiences which creative storytelling. With intuitively designed lessons that use theatre, debating and other practical skills, the program uses creative formats to develop all facets of a child’s personality. The curriculum also includes a hands-on project component where the students will be presented with an opportunity to apply their skills learnt during the classes, and develop the craft of campaign speech and descriptive writing.

Moreover, storytelling is one of the most effective techniques for grasping and mastering a language over time. It helps a student with all the important aspects of a language – writing, speaking and visualizing. Utilising poetry, music, voice modulation and special techniques to build their confidence and creativity, storytelling can also empower children to fearlessly express language and emotion.”

Mastree’s curriculum creators and e-tutors ensure a fun and practice-based, extensive learning experience for each student, with a teacher-student ratio of 1:4.
