Kidzee Vashi hosted Annual Sports Day 2014

Kidzee Vashi, one of India's favourite preschool celebrated its Annual Sports Day 2014 with great zeal and fervor here today i.e 20th December 2014 at NMSA Grounds, Vashi.

Event commenced at 9.00 AM by a welcome ceremony followed by an awe-inspiring Torch Bearer escapade performed by kids, aged between 1.5 years to 5 years. More than 50 children performed at the event.

The children participated in various sports events including running race, object race, lemon and spoon, book balance. Parents were thrilled to witness such a magnanimous sports gathering and kept on cheering the young athletes with pom-poms, whistles and victory songs. They also appreciated the well organized and perfectly executed event and thanked the management of Kidzee  Vashi for indefatigable efforts.

Speaking on the occasion, Nalini Chandrashekar, Director Kidzee Vashi, said, “It’s been extremely exciting to receive an overwhelming response from parents, grandparents and children. It’s our belief and policy at Kidzee Vashi to motivate participation from all. We categorically, are not giving away any winners or runners up prizes in our Sports Day. Every child will receive a participation certificate, as he grows to step into the big school shortly from Kidzee Vashi. I would like to thank our teachers, admin and other staff who worked hard to make this day a grand success.”

It’s very important that a child is introduced to sports related activities at a very young age. It helps them to perceive the importance of fitness and sports.
